Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is one of my absolute favorite video games, and one of the most treasured games in the video game world. About six months ago, I found out there was an unreleased level for Sonic 2 called "Hidden Palace." There's video footage of the unfinished level on YouTube and MP3s of the level's music. I heard the music before seeing the videos, so I imagined the levels having a relaxing color scheme (blue).I whipped this image up entirely with Painter X. Enjoy!!

Well that's a nice looking background. Love the background designs of allot old school side scrolling platformers. Especially the 16 bit and a fraction of the PS1 Japanese releases.

Well there were two version of Hidden Palace Zone, one is from Sonic 2 Beta which didn't make it to the final game, but we all know Sonic 3 & Knuckle's Hidden Palace Zone. c:
