I attempted comics and stories at that age. Did the same thing of making up the plot-lines along the way.
Only began to pick it up again quite recently. But my comic plot-lines can be random as hell. But at times you could get inspiration from life itself, particularity from friends. I'll help if your friends are complete weirdo's (like me).

haha, My Plots are thought out so far ahead that by the time i start drawing them out i get bored and never finish cause i already know what happens and i then go start another story with some other character.

I think a lot of artists underestimate their ability to make a story, since we're all so comfy in just drawing cute characters that we think look nice and then making up stuff from there.
