Yesterday I posted Hide'n Sic, who I forgot to rename first before releasing him, so I kinda broke the alphabetical order I had planned out, but yeah it is what it is.

With the forth day of redesigning Ben's alien transformations for a reboot project I'm working on, I present you Ben's Orthopterran form: CrashHopper (the name is still in progress)

Orthopterrans are humanoid insect like species, with tough, spiky skin and big, strong legs that make then jump up to 50 feet in the air.

Their overall jumping ability is made possible by their overall leg structure that is built out of 4 main parts, that are interconnected with a rubber like muscles called "usmethinium" that can be stretched 4 times their original size but will always convert back to their original state. When jumping, Orthopterrans would lean foward with all of their body mass to fold their legz as much as possible to put pressure on the usmethinium, and when ready to jump, would relax themselves for their legz to sling shot them into the great heights. Of course they know how to manipulate their muscles and determine, how much force they must put and how much extra kick they have to do to reach a specific height. They also use their legz as a "free no fall damage card" as they'd just bounce off the floor as if they landed on a trampoline.

They also have these little foldable wings so they can glide and make their jumps longer. It's falling, but witn style. They can't actually fly tho. Also, they've got strong tails that they can use similarly to how earth's kangaroo's do, when they'd lean back on their tails and kick their opponent. But that's just a thought I had while drawing him.

Design wise, I didn't really change too much, the most drastic change would be the wings, bigger&thicker legz and giving him bigger visor like eyes. Originally, I wanted to color him the way u/oscarreviews did in their redraws, but I ran outta time and had other things to do... But yeah I might do that some day.
