Class is starting off pretty funnnn. This was a two hour project to design 'a dragon based off a vehicle of some kind'. I kinda ran with it and made up an idea of 'dragons' created/bred through magical means and transmogrification with inanimate objects and.. whatever. The big red-sail is supposed to be like a kind of transport ship or something.The lil yellow-sail is my fave, he's loosely based off a draco flying lizard- he has sails that come out of his sides via a spread out ribcage. All his sailfins are movable, and he's made for air and water. Only one to two people can ride him, tops.
Didn't turn out half bad for the time I had, I think

Wow. This is so weird. i constantly have dreams about these giant robotic lizards and dragons in the futeresque world (I know- I'm weird) So i find it really cool to find something like this. XD

Ohh you're in second semester of fourth year. It'll shape up to be a really good one if you keep this up. I like the concepts because you managed to make them look pretty convincing, while keeping it simple. These would look great when developed further and fit into some kind of world.

My favorite has to be the boat one, too. It's the one with the most integrated mechanical bits

These are really beautiful. I love the way you use transparent color to get that marker/watercolor look; it adds so much character to the flat color. And I love your linework - those tactile, inky-looking lines. And aside from your technique, the concepts are really amazing - you've found a really seamless middle ground between biology and technology that looks completely natural. Superb work.

DUDE I didn't think this was the 'dragonrider' concept you were talking about THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME XD I can never come up with shit this awesome T.T Lil blue guy is really cute and I like the netting on the red guy's neck...marks a clear access point and fffff have I mentioned I love you lately? XD
