Father's Day at Wolf Park. Erin's four boys got to meet their Uncle Apollo for the first time. There was much rejoicing by all involved. Apollo seems quite thrilled with them, though they chased after and begged him for food mercilessly. He did finally give up a meal for them, and tried to teach them a little bit of manners. They eventually all disolved into just a pile of exhuasted fur, adult and pups combined.Monty Sloan's photography as always. One day I'm going to take a class with that man, they have seminars with wolf pups this summer, maybe I can swing some quality time with them.

Sirius the one I adopted. I'll be getting his details any day now, and for the next year while I sponser him I'm allow to visit. Which means I can go inside the enclosure.

lolol I do believe the name Sirius has been around before Potter. It's the name of the closest star to earth or better known as "The Dog Star" It's why in the last summer of July and August those really hot days are called "Dog Day afternoons" It is close enough at that time, to actually heat the earth as the sun does.
