Description And another one!

This has been fun the last few days, drawing on paper again. Well, when I do digital stuff I still usually do roughs on paper, but I mean pencils-to-inks on paper. I forget how enjoyable it can be.

The Asteroids-themed thing will be explained in a few days. I'm not legally obligated to be secretive, I'm just like that.

Is the subtle moire pattern an actual result of the coloring process you're using or is that deliberately placed? I looks great either way.

It's a case of technology fighting technology. I'm working with red, blue, and yellow halftone/ben-day layers, and if you rotate them by a tenth of an inch, you can totally change the moire pattern that the computer's display imposes.

So you're pretty much doing 100% authentic old-shool color separations (minus the computer.) That's really cool.

Looking amazing, I love your choice of colors, and the lineart is sick as per usual
