Remember back in November I was doing some character portraits? Well, I got another one done over my seasonal break and now I'm back with the scanner, I can upload.This is Martina Adler - you've only seen her once before (she's the tragic looking girl last pictured in a green dress with a cello) - but you'll be getting to know her some more in late Feb-March when she makes her appearence in the comic. The thing Martina would love to do is sing - she's transfixed by talent singing competitions such as X-Factor and American Idol - but she's far too afraid of what the consequences might be if she attempted it. Hence, singing portrait!
I own that cardi so I can't take credit for the print - H&M can though^^

Hmm, looking forward to getting to know her. I have to say, though, the first thing I thought when I saw this was "Cleavage!" Heh, not sure why, but it just stood out to me in this picture.

I had a little inking accident with the cleavage, actually - ended up being a bit more showing than I intended, but I couldn't bother to reink everything again

Awwww... I admit that red hair seems to be my default when I can't think of another hair colour. Altho I like to go through my catalogue of characters, and see what my percentage is of characters with brown hair, blonde hair, or whatever hair is and then if I don't have enough characters with X hair colour, I tend to create characters with that colour hair
AWww I wish I had a H&M clothing store here! We have one in a city an hour away, but theres also a Guess store in the same mall, and usually I end up spending all my money at Guess so....(which is FAR more expensivveeeeee) XD But either way I alllwayssss try and snag deals. Most of the time I actually only buy clothes when they are on sale, cept for a few items

I do that too! I used to have so many readheads and I had to think about the new characters I was creating and how they could have different hair colours. That's why Lindsey ended up blonde - I don't really like blonde men, but I didn't have one, so I figrued it was about time!
I'm opposite to you - I hate sales and I'd kinda prefer to pay full price because I usually think sale items aren't good XD

Aww hee hee, I lovveeee naturally blonde hair - theres just something really.. I dunno, innocent about it or something. I can't explain it. XD But these days natural blondes are hard to find (atleast around here!)
Aww hee hee, for me it really depends, for jeans I'm completely willing to cough up a lot of money and retail price on them, but for shirts and things, I'm a little cheaper! XD I recently discovered how much I love thrift shops! I've found so many great items! And, for the one that I like here, when you buy things from them it helps out people in the community and things, so it gives me that feel good feeling inside!
