First things first. We are dealing with a blood elf so check-marks on the eye color, the pointy ears and the long eyebrows. All are well drawn and make clear the nature of the character. The profile angle allows for a clear depiction of the scar going along his face and how that scar looks in the different lighting setting, with the light coming from the right and the shadows developing on the left. This angle also gives the feel that he is watching something in the distance which provides the image with authenticity and realism. The fact that the sky and the hair has been deprived of detail can be forgiven due to the nature of the painting and the focus on the face. especially the eyes and nose are leave nothing to be desired. On the other hand the facial expression is trending to dull, leaving some question marks about the emotions the figure is experiencing. As a whole even tho it does not have strong emotional impact is an excellent piece that shows the skill of the artist, matching if not overcoming previous works

I'm really enjoying the colours of this piece - I think it's clever how you paired the background purples with the scars! Technique and anatomy are wonderful of course, beautiful work on nose and lips, the only thing I'm missing here and there is a bit more contrast - especially area around the neck and left side of hair. I would suggest to put some darker tone/shadow to the right side behind the neck (on hair) as there is naturally not much way for light to come in and then also a a tiny bit behind the edge of the collar/scarf and perhaps some more shadows on the neck in general.
Then I'm thinking that if you want the face to be mostly in shadow and not to add any more reflections or light (as I see it can interfere with eyes standing out), I'd possibly make the background a tad lighter to make it all a bit more dynamic? The streaky look is great, although, I would love to see it without the streaky look, maybe outline it, too. It is definitely better than I can do, I am pretty sure I would still love it a lot if I were the same rank as you. He is quite unique, I think he would be an awesome character in a game or movie, I love the looks of his eyes, the setting, the way you did his hair, I would like to see more of something like this! Overall this piece looks great, the expression and facial features work very well together. The only thing is that the hair that falls on the left side of his face by the ear blends in a little with the skin, and so does his left eyebrow. The skin shading and his nose look great, and the glowing effect of his eyes also looks good.Really the only thing that stuck out for me was his hair, a little more detail would be great.The background fits the color scheme perfectly,great color choice. Overall awesome job on this portrait!I hope to see more awesome art from you soon!

this is amazing! the detail in all of it looks so wonderful! the lighting looks great and so does the shading!, the face looks magnificent, and has great proportions. the character looks content, as if he has done something good for another person, for his evilish look.
