Almost reminds me of one of Phobs' pieces.

I'm not an artist, so I will be using very technical words (thingy, ishness, and stuff); I wouldn't even call myself a writer, as I only have one published work and it's a haiku, lololol. Β
Anyway. Β This piece stood out to me because it looked like a sculpture on paper. Β I love the highlighting and shadowing with the decisive line; he seems almost real, as if you had a model pose for you. Β He also looks either slightly annoyed, like he might sigh or purse his lips to respond with his humor, which must be dry, clever, witty, and edging along the border of smart ass-ishness. Β The more I look at it, the more I feel like he's trying to convey some message, but also be still for the picture, and the only reason he's sitting still for the picture is to please the one person that he'd do anything for. Β A child, lover, an elder- someone he loves and respects a great deal.
