Hatchling Venezuelan Red Foot Tortoise (Geochelone carbonaria )/Our Collection/February 22, 2009After 150 days (eggs laid 9/24/2008), our first baby has hatched! The white egg tooth, used to break out of the shell, is still visible just under the nostrils.

I'm not good at sizes but think he/she is about the size of a .50 piece or silver dollar. That may not help if your currency is different than ours.

LMAO i like the use of camera equipment for size but i was only in NY in July for a while so still have a ton of quarters and i have a few dollars left too. I wanted to get a whole collections going of all the states in quarters hehe

I was going to try to collect a quarter from each state too but I gave up. I'm not that good at collecting unless gadgets and cameras / equipment count.

lol i know that! haha i got a fair amount of quarters now i must take a look at exactly what i have and what i need to get someday. In NY i got a ton of different types plus the shop assistants took a look at what they got and helped me out hehe

She got to leave the hospital Monday morning and is now staying with Jim & I. We wanted her to get a few more days of rest before leaving her alone. We're going to take her back Saturday afternoon and drive back Sunday. It's a four hour drive..
I can't tell you how much the thoughts and prayers mean to us.
