What I've been working on most of this time that I've been posting up photos and whatnot. Similar to PHD, this drawing is about three feet by two feet, and I finally got it DONE, gosh darn it!
Now, on to other things... I've got some WIP photos in my Scraps that I'll be posting up soon enough, in three installments, which will include some detail shots, so go there if you want to see some portions of this closer up. Click on the Download button to see a slightly larger version. Used some new techniques, used new materials, new ideas, though they've all been introduced to me. Now that I'm starting to accept them, I'll be trying other things, so yeah. There might be some odd things coming your way, but that's good, right? *chuckles* But aye - more happy that I finished this than anything. 
Combination of many hardness types and forms of graphite (normal pencils and mechanical pencils), some charcoal (primarily in the dragon), blending sticks/stumps/tortillons/whathaveyou, and tissue paper.

I don't know what to say, other than the detail, perspective and shading here is absolutely amazing. It looks so realistic...I could almost visualize looking out, say, an airplane window and seeing that (which would be really cool after I stopped freaking out). xD I only wish I could see it in person to see just how varied it is - cameras only pick up so much.

The detail is fabulous and the lighting is spot-on! c:
I think my favourite part would have to be the head and neck, looking at the detail shots, that part looks outstanding! And the muscle definition at the base of the wings looks so real!
I don't even want to think about how long you spenton doing all the trees, let alone the entire thing!

*chuckles* If the wings are crazy, does it mean the rest of me is sane? That would be odd to say the least if you had insane body parts. oO Well, it might explain those B-rated science fiction movies with those rouge hands and whatnot.

It looks so sharp and in some places and softly veiled in others. I'm almost startled by the details, this has an almost spooky presence to it like a mind scape or similar. The more I study it, I see the high and low contrasts, it's all very eye catching. Takes my breath away! Simply great work. I've been working with acrylics today, but after seeing this I want to jump in another project with my charcoals. :3

I adore pencil works most of all... and this is just amazing... I would love to see it in person and ogle all the little details. What an achievement... now you've set my bar of expectations for myself even higher

One of the difficult things about this piece is that it is really rather hard to see in different kinds of light - I've used so many different kinds of pencils on it in varying layers that some parts are horribly reflective while others can't be seen without looking at the drawing in some really odd angle. But hopefully a scan can fix some of that, perhaps... if only to capture all of the preferred visual tweaks and quirks.

Really? oO I'm thinking that some of the 'realism' is coming from that right wing, where it looks brighter than the rest of the paper... that's from a light, so it is a little misleading. Thank you all the same, though, and though I know that an artist is their own worst critic, I'm thinking that I could do better than this.

A very very beautiful piece! Its almost as if you're there flying with the dragon, high above the landscape, and even higher than the clouds.
The piece itself is fantastic; I really like the shading detail of the plantation and streams, and the dragon's shoulders and wings.

I just didn't say cuz its really good and i didn't want to be Little-miss-raincload.
But the joint, where the (what...thigh?) thigh meets the main body, seems a little missplaced. Because the spines go over that and the placing of the spines makes me think the leg should be more stretched out ya' know? It could be bent, but by most of your drawings it would be straightor. just saying, its a brilliant peice of work!
