This is one of my favorite scenes from Penguins of Madagascar. The whole Shanghai scene when they arrive is my favorite part of the movie. Sorry I mean "Dublin Ireland". One of the few cases of child abuse in a cartoon. I love it. Skipper sees a baby squid on ice at a fish market. He thought he was one of Dave's henchmen and grabs him, starts slapping him and yelling for information. "Where's DAVE!" When informed it's just a baby it starts crying and he apologizes it. I was hoping he'd eat it. A real penguin would eat a small squid but well that's me and knowing actual bird behavior. The fact he put him back in the ice is also funny because you know he'll die anyway and be some human's dinner. I actually love all the cephalopods in this movie. Dave was awesome. I must draw him sometime. I used a different technique to color this piece. More gradient shading and only a little bit of cell shading. I guess I could have done it all in cell shading for that soft 3D look.

Un raro caso de abuso en una caricatura. Me encanta. Skipper ve un calamar bebe en el hielo. Le da manotazos y le preguna furtemente "Donde esta DAve!?" Empieza a llorar quando le dicen que solo es un bebe. Le dice perdo y lo regresa al hielo. Lastima que no se lo comio como un pinguino verdadero que comen calamares pequños. Pero morirar igualmente porque es cena para un humano. Me da risa.
