Yes i know, this is the fictional Titanic from the movie "Raise the Titanic"
The picture's description will tell you that if you read it...

"I was asked a little while ago if i could do the Titanic as she appeared in the 1980 movie, Raise the Tianic."
Reading the description helps...

I like how the 2nd funnel was the only funnel to fall during the movie and the others are still intact, which is totally rubbish.Β

BrakeCoachStudios In reply to Titanicfan12 [2019-03-16 07:53:17 +0000 UTC]
It was because of the survivor accounts of a funnel falling with a cloud of sparks as seen in the deleted scenes of the sinking.
And this is proven as how the second funnel fell.
But yea all funnels fell after all

in the movie it was the first funnel but they put enthesis on it all the funnels did fall and we did see the third and fourth fall when the ship broke in half

well at the time of the movie, the official inquiry had concluded the ship to have sunk intact and the wreck had not been discovered yet

In reality Titanic's structure would have been too weak to raise of course but again at the time no one knew just how bad she really was and also she was believed to be intact at the time.

some did, some say they didn't, but people still believed in the ship's strength back then

I read that they used the SS Athinai (Ex-Santa Rosa of 1932) for a good number of scenes in RTT. Due to major differences on the Athinai and Titanic, the Titanic model was given the two vents and sheltered bow area because the Athinai had them.

She looks fine on the exterior but no matter how you see it. the interior was destroyed when the ship was raised. in the movie all the furniture and debris seemed to be piled up aft and There were deleted scenes showing foam being pumped into her hull which could have damaged some things in her hull.
also the blasting scene ia probably similar to TURNING A CORPSE IN A GRAVE.

Is it okay if I edit this as long as I give credit? I plan to color the windows to resemble nighttime. A brainwave came to me and I though, why not do a Titanic wreck with LIGHTED WINDOWS. Would it be okay as long as I give credit?

Okay. I see. At least I can edit on my computer (although not saving changes OR uploading). But still, I understand there`s a good reason and will not bother you about that further. Thank you. I hope your artwork is getting along well. I certainly couldn`t do it. Good job.

I would suppose that they based her appearance and condition on observations made from the the wreckage of her sister britannic though she isn't on her side. I noted a near resemblance to that in the film and book.

though she was handled poorly in the salvage scenes.

i suppose the epilogue would be that titanic undergoes restoration after the events of the film.
