Description People commented on this picture before and i've taken what people have said and removed the davits from between larger davits on the boat-deck.

Don't menetion the gold stripe being lower like on Post-War Olympic as this is an impression of Britannic if she wasn't made into a Hospital Ship in WW1

New version has been released.

This may sound impossible, but when i grow up, I want to restore the legacy of the Olympic class liners. I wish to grow up and build a replica of Titanic, called the Momentic. this may be absurd, but I am willing to work hard to literally spend an arm and a leg for the restoration of our early maritime history.Β

China is already building a 1:1 scale replica of Titanic to be used as a floating hotel in one of their theme parks of all things -_- so they've beat you to it.Β

oh noes!...

I still eventually want to do the project. Someday hopefully I will be rich enough, (probably not) to build the ship to set sail on the same route of the Titanic. I will eventually post blueprint on deviantart. I hope you will like it as much as I like your art!

Have you heard of the Titsnic II project that apparently has been restarted?

yes, I have heard of that. Clive Palmer is a very good man trying to restore history. I admire that.

I have also considered going on titanic 2, do you know when its maiden voyage is?

More than likely met the same fate as her sister Olympic.

But then again, the RMS Aquitania was kept around longer until 1950 so it could've happened to Britannic as well, but she wouldn't have survived WWII.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Lex-the-Pikachu In reply to Fujin777 [2014-11-01 00:09:25 +0000 UTC]

The Aquitania was a much newer vessel. At the time of her sinking the Olympic was only 5 years older than her and at the time of Olympic's scrapping the Cunard White Star needed money to finish the Queen Mary and many older vessels from both White Star and Cunard fleets were being retired hence why the successful Mauretania and Olympic were scrapped in 1930.Β

So, basically, Britannic was intended to look like Titanic, despite her new add-ons and safety features added to her decks and hull?

Lex-the-Pikachu In reply to FavoriteArtMan [2012-05-23 22:11:56 +0000 UTC]

she was going to be like that like her sisters regardless

I didn't know the exact, but I knew it had to be a high number cus you ain't gonna push a boat the size of the Empire State Building across the sea w/ an Evenrude Outboard. Here is my journal entry about The Titanic [link]

Gigantic never existed, she was renamed before her completion, that is what Britannic would of been like if she didn't enter service as a Hospital Ship

i wonder what would happen if Titanic survived the sinking, and Britannic didn't sank at all? It's impossible of course.

if Titanic nor Britannic sank then i guess the new safety features may never have been done to future oceanliners and the fate of Titanic or Britannic may have fallen to other ships

Lex-the-Pikachu In reply to Rioku9999 [2009-11-21 10:36:17 +0000 UTC]

She was never used as an Ocean Liner, during her fitting out stage she was called up to be a Hospital Ship. You may find a couple of photos of her during sea trails which show her with those larger davits, these davits were designed to make it possible for the ship to carry enough lifeboats for everyone onboard and with the boats stacked onto each other it freed up deck space.
