Max: Sam, your hilt is obscuring my vision.

Sam: Only partially, little pal. Besides, I'm counting on you to help me swash some buckles, or whatever other damn-silly pirate terminology I can thoroughly mangle in an attempt to sound more relevant to our current situation.

Max: Yeah, yeah, I'm behind you -- but only if you promise to never wear that ridiculous ensemble again. Ever.

Sam: Sure! You give me that hat and we've got a deal.

Max: Not a chance, Fancy Pants.

Sam: [frowns] ... I'm more of a Spade than a LeChuck, anyway.

Max: Funny, I thought you were more of a "winter."

Sam: [laughs] You bust me up, little buddy!

Day 6: A weird sword showcased in an even weirder homage to one of Steve Purcell's most famous Monkey Island-related pieces -- via an ill-advised crossover with Sam & Max, of course! It even comes with some cruddy dialogue to go along with the picture, a word changed here and there from the original forum post to make it a smidgen less cruddy.

This ended up being one of my favorite drawings, actually. I'm rather fond of Sam's poofy Guybrush hair and ill-fitting clothes -- too small, for once! -- and I think Max should wear a single, piratey earring more often. Also, he has a Popeye arm. That's pretty cool.
