Mass Effect 3's ending killed me on the inside. I refuse to believe that that was the end. Shepard promised he would come back alive, to Kaidan.

But yeah... I'd already played once as my asexual femShep (who left him to die), so I knew how it ended. When Kaidan said this to me on my male file, I cried manly tears.

I also kinda liked the ending, I just couldn't handle my Shepard dying. It didn't really matter if the relays and such got destroyed.

But now after reading about the indoctrination theory, I have just gotten so confused that I don't know what to believe or even WANT anymore. :'D But I would like to have some answers and my Shepard to live and have Kaidan by his side. That is all I need.

Yeah... I was traumatized for about two days after my femShep died, whom I had created and used since I played the first game. It got better in my head and when I reached the end as male Shepard, I actually really liked them (I also read tons of analytical essays). But yeah, I wish he and Kaidan could have been together afterwards.
My poor femShep had no one... XD

Yeah me too! I cried half an hour straight because of a video game. Still thinking about this hurts me inside. Kinda embarrassing to get so emotionally wrecked because of a video game, but I have no regrets. Well okay I regret that I broke the promise I made to Kaidan. ;__;

I have actually heard rumors that BioWare is going to release some DLC or expansion that has the "real ending." I so hope those rumors are true, because I just can't accept that Mass Effect ended like this!

It's called The Truth DLC, which actually has so much content that it can literally be called an expansion. Rumor has it that there was a leak with the storyline of ME3, a leak of a lot of stuff, actually. I was actually really surprised that BioWare didn't get mad about it at all. But if the rumors are right, their little revenge was to release it with THIS cliffhanger ending. (I'm goiing to stop saying "if rumor has it right" because none of this is confirmed, just assume this is all the rumor) BioWare's perfecting the ending, which is going to be included in The Truth DLC (which will be free). The choice you made at the "end" of ME3 is going to have huge impacts into the game ending, but every single choice will have its own set of possible endings that will be the different ones that they promised. Sounds ALMOST too good to be true but... keeping my fingers crossed! It would explain their tight-lipped-ness about the ending, how they're completely silent about it. It wasn't a mistake at all--they did it on purpose. There's no "fix" needed.

Oh my god really?! Well this totally made my morning better. I really hope there rumors come true. I think that if BioWare was going to just leave the ending like this, they would make it quite clear to their fans. But let's keep our hopes up!
