Last weeks animal/photo study of a Muscovy Duck. I love these ducks, they aren't the prettiest duck in the pond (though that's subjective
), but they are full of personality. [link]

Oh my gosh, what a group. I used to have a few myself and they just have the funniest and personable personality. I just love the way they bob their heads up and down, huff and puff, and waggle their tails like they do, that is why they are one of my favorite birds

I absolutely agree. They are extremely amusing to be around; I could spend hours watching them "talk" and communicate with each other. c;
I love how the males do a soft hissing sound when they "talk", and the females chirp, it's so cute.
It's especially adorable when they stand there wagging their tails when they see me walking out with their special treats. ^^
