This is beautiful--I like the composition, with the wings and tail partially cropped out of the photo. You get enough of those features to get a good impression of them (the size, shape, and pose), but cropping this in closer really emphasizes the face and feet and the details of the bird's markings. It also creates a nice balance to the photo, breaking it up into sections--the three sections of blue background and three sections of the tail and wings make a very balanced symmetry around the face and body. Really beautiful.
