I admit, I liked Raiden. Not because he was a pretty boy, but because he was a big-ass dork. Biggest dork EVER. That made him extremely likeable for me. I also enjoy Raiden's new look in MGS4, because it is the biggest "FUCK YOU!" ever from Kojima to whiney MGS fanboys that bitched about Raiden in MGS2.Related content

I think I'm one of only a few people on Earth who enjoys Jack and Rose's story and conversations. Most people hate it, but I like it! And I loved Raiden's character, even if he's a bit quirky.

Amen to that. xD I liked Raiden, and the scene with him and Vamp fighting in the MGS4 trailer is all the more reason for me to get this game. ^^

Awesome picture! I like Raiden! And not because he is a dork, becuase I don't think that he is. Well, I'll admit that the english dub was... disappointing. I think that is part of why he is so disliked by the english speaking gamers. In japan he is actually a rather popular chap. And I think that has to do with the voice. In the japanese version his voice is even more bad ass than snake's even. I think the slightly feminine english voice changes the whole character and makes him appear more ... dorky. Makes him appear very clueless and weak-willed. I wish mgs 4 would come out with japanese language and english subtitles rather than english dub. The dubs really ruins games.

The hips were big in mgs2 if I remember...The camera angle from behind was very disturbing, I kept forgetting it was a dude XD
I hate and hated Raiden, but he was fun to hate. And I think it was a good move as in, Snake was still in MGS2 a lot, and he looked cooler too, as I wasn't controlling him and doing stupid things like fall into traps all the time, accidently blow stuff up etc

YES! I've been staying away from the MGS4 trailers until just recently because I knew I'd go all fangirl over it as soon as I saw it. I JUST ABOUT JUMPED OUT OF MY SEAT AND STARTED SCREAMING WHEN RAIDEN CAME OUT OF NOWHERE AND OWNED THOSE MOOING GEARS!!! *squeals* This is a really cool Lea-Shinkawa style :9. I mean I think you did a great job while still retaining the definite Lea feel :9! YAYYYY. Yay MGS4!

yeah he wasnt snake but if he wasnt suppose to be in the game/story he wouldnt havnt been included.

this is really great...I like how you gave his body a sort of femanine look and the coloring syle mirrors the official artwork really nicely....and yeah raiden does look like hes going to be a pretty big badass in MGS4
