Description
a while back i did one of those disney coloring page things - [link] - and yesterday evening i felt like doing one again just for practice! the coloring page i used was this - [link] - and the painting that i used as inspiration for the palette and lighting is this - [link] .drawn in photoshop cs5 with an intuos4 A6 size. time taken - about 4 hrs. for more info on my artwork please visit [link]

These colors look great! I'm a bit sick of the happy colors in cartoons these days, I miss proper shading/nuance and darker colors because they give the pictures so much more life. I can't really draw that well with colors but when I learn how to I wish I can see shades the way you do and know exactly when/how to use it. The way you used the darker blue to make the crinkles in her dress is awesome.
You have no idea how happy your gallery makes me. And I love Disney so much. (Beauty and The Beast, incidentally, is my favorite.)

Beauty and the Beast was always one of my favourite Disney films, and is probably my all-time favourite now. So this is wonderful to see! The art is astonishingly good; it looks almost as if it could be a true real life painted portrait, only in the Disney animated universe, if that makes sense. (It probably doesn't!
