Description     It's been a while since I've done a dragon, and since my dragon character roster is set to be greatly expanding in my series... may as well get some dragon designs done!  Starting with the more important ones though.  You've already seen Syckle, Rigel, and Chrysthalia.

Feirlakyne is a dragon elder, one of the youngest to lead a union at only 658 years old at the time of his first appearance in the story.  While his legacy is unknown to that of the humans, the dragons from his union regard him as one of their greatest heroes.  This is ironic given that his grey scales signify that he lacks a dragon's natural resonance, leaving him unable to wield soul-fire and unable to connect with the souls of other beings (though others can still connect with him.  He still has a soul after all). Born of a light dragon and of a dark dragon, this disability is common among the hatchlings of dragons with opposite elemental background.
He is regarded for his defeat of an Eclipse dragon (A rare breed born of light and dark dragons, much like Feirlakyne, and it's a powerful breed at that) who wished to return Archleon to the lands in order to rid the lands of the humans.  The dragons remember the demon wars and know them to be a far worse threat than the humans themselves and thus did not want this to happen.  However, there were some who disagreed with those sentiments.  After his methods became too gruesome for even his followers, Feirlakyne managed to lead a party that brought down the drake, and was rewarded with the position of "elder" at only 400 years old.

This is another of those situations where I knew generally the role of this character, but didn't have an appearance to back it up.  After coming up with an appearance, I integrated it with his lore.  The greyscale thing was a detail I've had since the beginning, and I thought this character would be an interesting choice for showing it.  I hop you enjoy!  And if you're not a fan of my story, or just aren't reading it... well, it's a dragon so you should still be able to enjoy it XD!

I like how you were able to make a complex Dragon design without it compromising the anatomy, something that eludes to me to this day haha.

Nice work! Only thing I can critique is his head and eye seems a little stretched, but thats really minor compared to the rest of it.

Yeah, the head and eye thing is something I've been told about and is something that causes me problems.  I generally have to look up references and such to make the poses when I do dragons, as their many limbs, wings, and tails can easily get in the way of each other.  I do want to eventually make  more complex poses such as a dragon biting down, running, or breathing flame, but I'm not quite there yet.

Thank you for the feedback!

This looks like something that would appear on a Magic: the Gathering card. Awesome work, buddy!

Hey wounderful design! He look really cool, some people tand to give dragon too much spikes or too much scales, but here its really well balanced.

The only thing I would edite is perhaps the size of his eyes and make them a lil bite smaller so he may look more ferocious.

Other that that, good work

I agree that sometimes people do too much with their dragons, and others not enough, so I draw them to fit my tastes.  The eye thing is fair and is definitely something I'll keep in mind for next time.  Thanks for the feedback!
