  Here it is, finally!!! I will admit I rushed the coloring a bit towards the end, I really want to work on other ideas that keep taking my focus but I didn't want to push this into the void. Anyways, I got a lot to talk about with this one.

The body shape was based off of the Other M design, though I made his wings more draconic. (His original 2d designs had tiny wings and a stupidly thin neck, which doesn't make sense anatomically. He was mostly machine in the Prime series as well, so that didn't leave me a lot of choice. Also, I kinda liked the Other M design). I had to make his wings draconic in my own style, since the wings in Other M were practically the same in shape and design as Spyro universe dragons, which is fine for more cartoonish styles, but looked odd to me on the Other M model.
My original intention was to do a Meta Ridley in the Other M style, but I found that there were too many areas of his body that were exposed, which wasn't looking right in my style. So instead, I went a whole different route. I figured, "What if Ridley finally figured out how to replicate Samus' technology?" There was a focus on this in the Prime series. However, Ridley isn't the scientific type and the space pirates are gone as of Super Metroid and past. So...? The federation kept Ridley's corpse in Fusion, and Other M showed that he can be cloned from a single cell. This means that the Galactic Federation can not only revive him, but replicate Samus's armor. Unlike the Pirates, the Federation has directly worked on Samus' gear. (Metroid Prime 3 and it is theorized they had a hand with her suit which led to the Other M design of it). With the Federation gone corrupt and likely after Samus as of Fusion, it is not impossible for a scenario like this to occur.

By far the geekiest thing I have ever done... As for the above paragraph, it is not necessarily a hope I have for the series, but it was an idea that sprouted when I was drawing him. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this! Let me know if I should do more fan art in the future.
