Description And as many did when the time came, I also fell in love with Luna's second season design. I was alwasy fascinated by her and her relationship with her sister and various other characters.

I wanted to draw her looking very official and royal, like she's supposed to be. Again, even though her mane and tail aren't as nebulous as they should be, I still like how vivid they became.

The Equestria cot of arms was so fiddly to do... Asides that backgrounds re so not my thing. (Also I have very little experience with digital media, so I am still learning)

I don't know what I love more: the simplicity and yet definition of her jewelry or that you gave her cosmic mane a hair texture! Overall it is a beautiful image!

Ahahah, Well this image is kinda old ,and the lineart for it was done pretty early on this year. (And a lot of pony images have similar poses) Bute yeah, happy you likes it. 8D

Gosh! She is so gorgeous the way you've drawn her. Love that you put the shape of the muscles and her mane and tail. And her eyes.... majestic.

I say Twi is best pony, but Luna... is too beautiful and take a notch above Twi. But since she doesn't appear a lot (read not enough), Twi get the spot. That's why about the eyes.

There are points in Luna Eclipsed where chunks of her hair are season one style during moments when she's especially distracted or stressed. I'd assume she's constantly burning off excess energy by making her hair float and sparkle. Thus, I'd expect a photo to look something like this.
