Oooh, neato. And here I can't help but hope he doesn't live long enough to see what Julian unleashes upon the world... if only so he won't have to deal with a decade of guilt while trapped in a robotic shell.

There is no need to worry, Ape. The fellow has lead a long life (with a shaky history), and has seen plenty of epochs in Acorn society. At the time of the story, he is actually near the end of his days. Although his presence is short, he is actually a very important character, and one with an important set of effects among the residents and servants of the Acorn Palace.
Among his interactions with Julian, Oureakah introduces many important balances and topics of Mobian society, directly or indirectly. Moreover, his long lifespan has given him a great deal of insight as to how the Acorn Kingdom and Mobius have been changing, and his keen memory and mind for knowledge set him at rather equal footing with regards to Julian at the time.
Perhaps more areas of interest will be found as my plans for this project develop. For now, thank you for the comments, as always, Ape!

Hmm, yes, I am inclined to agree with you, Alienhominid. The resemblance is noticeable, now that you mention the likeness.... I'd actually made a similar comparison myself, thinking more of Master Splinter, as well as Yoda. I suppose much humor is quite similar, in the end. Ah, influence of culture and media.
I have a few more ideas in mind currently relating to this character; but for now, studying must be my focus - currently, Territory, Authority, Rights: from Medieval to Global Assemblages... All of which is independent study related to this project in question, more for the sake of a compleness of perspective relating to Julian Robotnik. I deem it well-worthwhile as a whole, however eccentric the cause may be.
Thank you again, AlienHominid2000.

Greetings, Geno.
... So I see. Yes, I will have to deal with the matter of reptillians as much as I will that of avians and mammals in this project. Time will tell the scope of the results.
Thank you, as ever, Geno.
