Happy Halloween everyone!

I've been meaning to draw Tifa and Cait Sith from Final Fantasy VII (THE ultimate Halloween game as far as I'm concerned) for a couple of years now. And I'm damn happy with how it turned out! I think it's definitely one of my best lineart, and I didn't even spend all that much time on it - 4, maybe 5 hours. I especially love how feminine my Tifa turned out - I think there is a inherent and inticing grace in a curvy woman that goes far beyond sexiness, and that's why I've always figured Tifa would make a nice-looking witch. Anyway.

I had the BRILLIANT idea not to scrap the good lineart with an appailing attempt at colour-adding on my part. It's not that I'm a bad painter/inker per see, but most of the pieces I produce are better looking before than after I add colors. Especially after they've been through my cheap scanner - somehow pieces that look good in my hands look pathetic after that awful thing is done with them. I hate my scanner with a passion.
Okay, maybe I'm a bad painter/inker as well. But that means there's plenty of space for improvement, so it's not all that negative. I really ought to get a tablet and a recent version of photoshop - I'm pretty sure I could turn out more decent pieces if I used a computer program instead of black ink that my damn scanner can't scan properly. *sigh*
