Description Programs: Blender, Photoshop and Crazybump
Tris: 1636
Texture maps: Diffuse, specular and normal maps (1024x1024 each)

This was yet another texturing and modelling challenge. I've been trying to make low-poly assets recently and I always make it way too low-poly. A friend of mine has been giving me tips on how I should model/texture this prop, which of course led to me making more polygons than I would usually. I think I've learnt a lot from this, especially texturing.

If you're making props, here's a tip: Don't worry too much about polygons. Our machines are becoming more and more powerful and it's beginning not to matter, so go for it!

Really good textures. Though I personally think the purple is a bit too vibrant.

Yeah, it is isn't it? I think it has to be due to what it is, as it's colour coded. I'll drop the saturation a tiny bit I think. Cheers.

I thinks it looks very good, i just want to ask you, how many polys your PC can hold? And what PC you usign¿ Because my PC can't hold over 3million at same time, xD
