Is that plane an SU-47?

It's called Alpha X Fighter at DAZ3D. Looks like it's inspired by the SU-47

When faking scenes in DAZ scaling is your friend!Β This one is really well done!

This actually works very well.
Main problem is the sea, where it nears the horizon. In r/l the surface would look quite smooth at that distance, and as you're faking it (very well i must say), you have waves all the way out there.
I was wondering if one could do something with a graduated displacement or normal map, which has waves around the ship, but they disappeart near the horizon.Β
(and is that horizon really straight?)

Yes, it should. I wasn't referring to your suggestion, but to the way I had done the image
