Sorta grew up with both, so I can easily see the connections. But yeah, this old thing and that other one needs an updating. I'll get to it at some point.
And if really think about it, LBT Littlefoot's group of friends is like technically the very first Guard. Dino Guard.

Maybe the drawing up left is a drawing of the future, since it was seen in Return of the Roar. I also saw the 'red maned Scar' in The Rise of Scar. Maybe another sign that it was going to happen (maybe it means that it wasn't an error but they did it on purpose)?
It also could be Ahadi because we have no idea who he looks like (I mean we have the books with pictures of him but that is not going to stop the fans from making designs xD). And also the drawing shares some traits. And the ghost of Scar coming out of the volcano was maybe later drawen.

Also, I also think that the top left picture of Scar represents him being King and taking over the Pridelands and for where you think that the Lion near him is Kion, then I don't think it is him. I believe it represents Simba and him coming to claim back the throne and the fire representing the final battle!

The Lion Guard it is the Outlands with the Volcano, and Simba doesn't have green eyes.
Besides, these last some episodes except for the most recent (Janja's New Crew) I've noticed Kion keeping his eyes closed before summoning the roar.

Yea, but I don't believe Scar lost the power completely - considering the well-timed lightning bolt at the near end of the film.

The deal with TLK/TLG I think is kind of like Bambi, the movie its unmentioned but I know Bambi's mate is also his cousin...

Anyhow, I'd hope TLG would answer these things relatively soon. Early Script anyhow Kovus WAS to be Scar's son, but because of the cousins-thing they change it. That or we could see it as Zira having lied to her sons on who's their fathers.
