Backstory:

Though born Hyena, Shujaa had been raised alongside a forest refuge of other baby animals. She never knew her real parents, nor what happened to her clan. One day, a disastrous fire spread though out the forest. Shujaa took it upon herself to warn everyone, and get the young to safety. Unfortunately they had lost their home, and leader. Shujaa managed to convince everyone to work together thus becoming the first "Guard" of sorts in the land as they searched for a new place to call home. Those that were with her remember her and tell their future generations the story of the Queen of Legends. She went beyond for others, putting them first instead of herself - extremely rare for hyena kind in general.

Those of her friends that learned of her death at the paw of her own daughter try to keep her legend alive amongst herds and other kind, so as not to forget... We Are One. Sisi Ni Sawa.
