Description I've had this lapis for ages-it was an irregular shape, but the color was just amazingly stunning. That rich blue with pyrite sprinkles. Couldn't figure how to wrap it. So I framed out a drop shape to finally wrap it.

Wrapped in vintage bronze coated copper and 14k gold fill.

Bigger piece, 2 3/8" long by 1 1/2" wide.

For sale, $60 USD +shipping will go up on etsy @ [link] or note me.

Gorgeous colour! (Is there even such a thing like ugly lapis?!) It's a really unusual shape, made you made it work, hon!

There are sooo many grades-the highest is super blue with almost no pyrite or anything, I like the next step down that still has the super rich blue but pyrite inclusions. I didn't realize the variations till I went shopping for beads for a necklace for my aunt years ago. The upper middle grades are still pretty but not as pure a blue-the ones I call tardis blue. They get grayer with less pyrite as they go down, but they're all pretty in different ways with different outfits
