Description The Remembrance.

This was a work in progress about a year ago when I suffered a massive hard drive failure during backup, wiping this, the original model for the Tie HiMaT, and the Landis Phoenix out. Still, I figured this would be worth moving out of the scraps folder and into the actual gallery.

Based on Colin Cantwell's first model of the Millennium Falcon.

The background info really sells the image! I wish more people would include a narrative. Thanks for sharing with us, and great job imaging (and rescuing) this piece of art!

Thanks! Whenever I do art, I always create sort of backstory to the piece as I am making it, which helps me come up with the details and how it's supposed to function. These little stories sometimes take me in surprising directions

It really is a shame that I lost the mesh for this piece, since I was doing two versions, one was a screw by screw recreation of the miniature itself, and the other was a tweaked, functioning ship version. I am very tempted to redo the project, if I can fight the mixed feelings I have about doing so.

Anyways, thanks for the support!
