--Just wanted to say, thank you lots to EVERYONE who left a comment or faved. You made me smile lots
--Full title: The little cat who knew the way to heaven.
The latin phrase means -Whatever guilt the night has brought now let it vanish into air.-
This was mainly an experimentation with colour and light.
Also once I'd drawn it I was reminded of Wolf's Rain. What if animals really did know the way to a heaven? A place where nature is in harmony with everything that walks, flies, swims or crawls.
stepping through dancing lights
coloured beyond the endless dream
dawns before of long ago
path that follows the distant star
show us the way
we, of the land sea and air
we do pray
show us the way...

This is one of the most wonderful (Breath taking)pictures I've seen on DA; it's so simple yet so deep.
The color is well done and it holds a sad yet hopeful feel to it. I love cats for one and W.R is a great show (you got the theme for sure!). You also did AMAZING with the night sky, love the moon.
I will watch you for more of your beautiful artworks.

This piece is really beautiful, and touching as well. It's so sweet in its visuals and almost a little sad in its narrative, but that makes it very beautiful. The cat knows the way to get there, but can she?
I love the soft colors in this, they do look very heavenly, especially that cyan with the pure white celestial bodies in it.
And I really love the phrase at the bottom coupled with the picture. It makes me think the cat, despite any mistakes or wrongs it may have done, is going to heaven. That bright aura around the cat that reaches up towards the stars, along with that curl reaching down from the moon, look like the cat is being brought up into heaven.
It's a beautiful piece with a very touching and lovely idea behind it.
