The original author of this poem is uncertain, but it reminds me of Gata's loving relationship with her sister. Actually she hates her brother too, but at leased he is not set out to torture her... It's a cat thing.Related content

It's a bit of a long story. They are a warrior race so they are already short tempered. Ailou (the blue haired one) was heir to the Ellanekos kingdom. She was strong, clever and capable aside from being quite sadistic. Her father, the king, hoped that she would get better, but didn't so he took her birthright, making Gata the next heir to the kingdom. Furious, Ailou attempted to kill her father, but failed, getting her banished because the king did not want to kill his own daughter. Later, the kingdom was invaded and all her people were either killed or enslaved. Gata barely managed to make it out alive, and was the only survivor in her group. Gata tried to find help to save what was left of her kingdom, but had no luck. With no money or land anymore, she was forced to find work as a bounty hunter.
In the meantime, Ailou is still on the loose and would love to kill her sister who she blames for getting her banished by being the "better daughter."

Yes, you caught me. Despite the name, and constant Greek influence, because a poem mentions a location in Ireland, she is Irish.
