Job: Hot springs owner

Ability: Hydration – with his hot springs, Hayate is able to essentially “fix” what ails you. While he can't aid physical injuries, his springs will heal minor illnesses or exhaustion.

Attacks: Helping Hand ; Water Pulse

Likes: Warm weather, rain, walks, simple foods, reading.

Dislikes: Overexertion, disorder, cold weather, being touched (without permission), drinking.

Personality: If going by nature, Hayate would be considered Quiet; very soft spoken, he is very careful of his words and will highly think things over before chiming in. While his serious demeanor is rather intimidating, the Vaporeon is quite friendly and open to becoming acquaintances if chemistry allows. Very serious about his work, he worries over the well being of others and goes out of his way to make sure that his friends (and guests) are comfortable and content. He's not one to get angry very often, but if you strike a nerve, Hayate isn't afraid to give you a piece of his mind. The man's smile is rare, but it's a treasure to behold.

History:  Not a native to the area, Hayate was raised relatively close to Gale Spring, where his family had long set up their small hot spring resort. While he had worked with his family in the springs, he had never really become acquainted or close to any of their customers as he had been in the background, learning how to run and maintain the business. Bent on becoming the perfect owner, Hayate didn't mind this and often kept to himself or restricted to the family for most of his upbringing. They were a happy, tight-knit family, though he was an only child – leaving the responsibility of the hot springs on his shoulders from the beginning. There had been one or two interesting connections in his life, but both were short lived and easily forgotten; though sometimes a wild thought passes and he finds himself pondering over it for some time. One was a cousin: the two had spent a week together growing up as their family was on vacation, but with that short lived friendship, it died just as quickly. The other was with a young girl, by chance, and while there was something that sparked, neither of them kept in touch as she had only been around for a day or two. With both of his parents getting on in age, he inherited the business at the age of 32. As he, himself, ages, Hayate has become more curious and interested in reaching out and making connections with others, but with his sheltered and secluded lifestyle up until now, the poor man isn't quite sure on how to do so. He is often restricted to his business, but does enjoy walking around town or taking hikes in the wilderness surrounding the area and often hopes to run into others in the process.
