Once I found out about Mr. Sueyoshi's Steampunk watches ( [link]
rev=/search%3Fq%3D[link] ) I couldn't help but make my own.This one's a pocket watch. It was orriginally a wrist watch, but one of the ends were bent, so I cut two of them off and turned it into this. Heh! this one was fun, especially when I was punching the holes to put the button on.... I missed the hole punch with the hammer and punched out the crystal instead. good thing I have a bunch more to replace it with
I made these with the intention of selling them so if you happen to be interested send me a linkydink.

A little bit of baby oil might take the marker marks off of the leather without doing any harm to it... sorry but that caught my eye >.<;;

yeah, I don't even use marker hardly anymore on leather.

indeed! it makes it economical too, because you can find alot more wrist watches then pocket watches.

This one's my favorite out of the four, and I agree with ~aelthwyn , being constrained by time is no fun...it should be tucked away once in a while

Aye. The sort of jackets and things I want to be designing wont exactly work well with wrist watches... plus I don't even really like wearing wrist watches... Yeah, When I get a good watch I like to turn 'em into pocket watches... and I've only done that with one watch... which means I've only had one good watch so far... hmmm nvm

I've always perfered pocket watches because I don't like the idea of being bound by time....much better to be able to tuck it away in one's pocket or twirl it about on a chain

yes, steampunk isn't all that old. Sure there's alot of people who've been steampunk their whole life, it's just that now there's a name for it.

I like pocket watches very much. But I believe it would be too expensive to let my dream watch build.
