I've always loved this scene from "Kiki's Delivery Service," so I thought I'd see how it would look with my characters Miki and Anra playing the parts of Kiki and Jiji.I had fun giving the characters the "flat" look of cell animation while rendering the background in a more 3-D way. Until the day when I get to see my own characters animated for real, I suppose this is as close as I'll get!
Thank you, Hayao Miyazaki, for many years of inspiration...

I love the Ghibli films. except for Grave of the fireflies, that was too sad for my taste, and Princess Mononoke, too gory, I don't like gore.
