Finally shipping out Eel walker #7 to a collector in North Carolina. He ordered a marble base for his and it really adds to the piece.Another client just put down a deposit on #8. There are only 12 left in the edition size so order yours today.
limited edition Bronze, edition size of 20.
21" tall with the base, 28" long.
originally sculpted in Oil base J-mac classic clay medium grade.

Absolutely amazing. The details are gorgeous (especially on the womanβs legs) and the pose of the eel and woman are nonchalant yet elegant, almost like they walked out of a fairytale or something. I love how the patina on the eel looks like light shining through water. Magnificent.
Iβm rather pleased with myself that I recognized itβs bronze.

...In this case the subtle colours and the markings are absolutely perfect! how long does it take to get from concept to finished piece prior to getting them cast? (...and yes, the marble base has the proportions and weight that make the piece more substantially balanced?)

I would love something like this in my collection.. But small place, young child, and husband who doesn't understand physical art (he's a musician) means I don't get to have a studio filled with artworks
