The High World, home to the great cities of the gods, was encompassed by a veil of mist for untold centuries. Rising from the ocean's edge, the white wall surrounded all that was known under the firmament and harbored deadly guardians turning all those away who would dare approach the ends of the world.
That was until the veil was lifted by the gods of the pantheon, heralding the Dawning Age. New worlds were revealed beyond the Falling Seas, new frontiers under unknown skies. And a call towards these promised lands arose in all of the great cities, seeking to expand their realms and claim dominion over all the new worlds had to offer.
As the first skyward fleets descended on the new worlds below, they would soon be followed by rivals and mortal enemies. The colonies of the new world would not be born without a war, unleashing a gale of iron raining down on virgin shores.
