Anybody remember this guy? It's the wicked boss from Super Castlevania, one of my absolute favorite bad guys from the game. My brother asked if I could draw this pic for him, which is a small personal victory, since it's the first time he's ever given the impression of giving a flying fuck about my artwork.I can't do claws... sigh.
Anyway, this is done almost entirely in OC, with some minor touching up in PS. For the OC jockeys out there, here's the event file, if you're interested:

Yaaaay one of my favorite bosses in Super Castlevania 5! I loved fighting him and the gargoyl and death over and over and over 
Oh! And it was fun to see him make a short lived appearance in SOTN too.

They say that Rondo of Blood is actually the best of the series. I'm dying to try it, but until proven otherwise, I still say that Super Castlevania is the one and only star!

he was a boss in castlevania SOTN too, really nice coloring

Yeah... I didn't like what they did to Slogra and Gaibon in that game. In SC they were bad ass, the absolute elite and only second to Death and Dracula himself. Then in SOTN they become ubiquitus, ever-present thralls that you kill with a single slice of your sword. I think they deserve better.

Well, suffice to say that SC's Slogra would have torn Alucard a new asshole.

I disagree, though they are extremely weak in comparison, but Alucard would have beaten them all the same. He is theprinceof Vampires after all, Ijust wished they made Slogra and Gaibon a later boss and much harder. I thinkin SC4, they were elite generals or something.
In SotN, they just seem like servants of the servants.
