this is an update to my halloween costume from last year, sillabub 2002. [link] in case you're too lazy to look at that link, i made the costume myself (with the exception of the arm and leg warmers) based on a character from the andrew lloyd webber musical " cats".

i basically put the finishing touches on the costume (it wasn't done last year... hi, i'm a procrastinator), so the updates to the costume include:

- FINALLY putting on the red organza for the shoulder fluffies
- adding snaps on the legwarmers so they connected to my shoes, and extra reinforcement snaps at the knees so they wouldn't slide off on one side
- redid the hooks and eyes (which you can't really see, they're installed along the shoulders and neck to close the unitard... it didn't do much, i'll have to redo them again eventually)
- some maintenance work on the poor collar (the spikes kept falling off, so much for super glue on a cheap belt)
- went over a lot of the black hatching on the back of the unitard, since it wasn't nearly as dar as i'd hoped for. eventually i'll have to redo it again (it fades off, especially when sweat hits it), possibly with some kind of acid dye, which i've seen do wonders on fan made unitards
- forgot to restyle the wig... it seriously needs a brushing, if nothing else, to get the dust out. it looks horrid. i apologise for it being all messy.

this year i also took the liberty of taking a picture of the back of it, since i neglected to last year. so now you get to see the tail. oh, and i got the pose right this year, too. go me!

i don't claim ownership of the character, etc... all due praise and thanks to alw... overzealous fan, not doing this for money, etc.
