Edit: Lets call this shit done and move on!This one was done without the usual complete tight line drawing, instead i took the rough into Painter X and just worked into it. Its definitely looser than the norm for me, but I don't know if its quite done.

I love the color scheme in this one. That soft yellow works well to define the giant without overwhelming the rest of the piece.

If you turned the girl around, it would look like she was that princess that commanded the flaming giant in Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.

Excellent piece. I like the looseness of the background, I think it is a nice contrast to the sharpness of the foreground.
The giant looks great and slightly shrouded in fog, which adds to the intimidation. The colors are beautiful and effective. I also really love the details that are present in the giant's clothing, hair, face and armor.
I do agree with *Simolin's comments about the background and the giant's left arm and that it is an awesome piece.

The palette is excellent. If I had to make some recommendations, I'd say a hint more warmth to the sky at the horizon might be welcome, to set off the foreground, and the giant's left arm comes off as a little rigid, mostly at the wrist, and where the bicep meets the elbow. Overall, this is another awesome piece.
And I think he'd kick the Jolly Green Giant's ass.

You could perhaps bring some of the blues you brought into the banner into her hair to break up the color a little. I'm not sure if that would end up making it too repetitive, but it might be interesting to try out.
Otherwise, I love the simple color scheme and the way you broke up the space.

This is an amazing piece of work. The color scheme is great (I love how you use your reds here, and the purple/blues for the background. Gives the impression that the background is misty/foggy.), and the giant in the background is just stunning with the details in the fabric, and on the armor.

I really love it loose, honestly.. the whole thing has a beautiful misty feel to it. The splashes of red are a nice touch.
