after looking at jasinski's stuff for the first time in awhile i decided that i had to paint. so i took the canvas i was using for a commission and sat down for three hours. the camera made some weird stripes with its flash, but oh well. i wish the head, which is very loosely based on me, was more abstract and angular, but it's not. i was wondering what category this would go in.Related content

This has a creepy feel to it- but it is veiled behind a certain softness. I like that the face isn't angular actually. The rest of the piece is straight lines- and the roundness of the face breaks it up nicely. Your use of color is fantastic in this. I must

I would have to disagree with you. I love how the organic curved shapes echo the design of the flower, i think that if the face was more angular it would lose a lot of its charm and the piece would not be as unified. Its perfect.

Hold the camera with the flash off on top of a stool or something steady, that'll usually give the colors and textures a better "scan" without the shine of the paint reflecting... but do what you what.
