I re-read the pilot chapter for the Naruto series, and couldn't help but think "goggle boy!", what with my current anime obsession being Digimon when I did so.I wonder what digimon partner Naruto would get if he was a Chosen. Personally, I think a V-mon would fit him.

Hmm...maybe Kudamon would be better because they're both foxes.
It's nice to see art based on the Naruto pilot, especially in light of what the canon has become.

Hrm...I can sorta see Kudamon, but not really in the later evolutions.
I always thought Kudamon resembled more of a ferret than a fox.
Maybe Dorumon, then? That one's sorta a fox...Renamon just doesn't fit him...
Yea...I thought the pilot was a great idea. Better than what the series became, at least. I downloaded it the second after I read the scanlations a few years ago of the pilot.
The part about Naruto being the offspring of the Kyuubi instead of having it sealed in him is a much cooler concept...I used that concept in a Naruto slight-AU fic I did, even.

I love that concept too. In fact, in some of my fics, I mesh Kyuubi and Minato, saying that Minato was a real dictator when he was the Yondaime Hokyokai ("kyokai" means chief), hence why Hiruzen and his friends sealed him away.
