I would like to state that I used to have no problem supporting our troops until I found out about the ones that find it acceptable to piss on the bodies of dead afghans and I do not necessarily support the war either. Now I only support a few troops, the rest burn in hell for all I care.

Fuck this. I am as patriotic as they come. I love anything military, I love weapons, I can never get enough military history (especially WWII), and I am as left leaning as Kucinich. Except that it was under Franklin Delano Roosevelt, one of the greatest Liberals of all time, that we entered the Second World War. The Conservatives at the time opposed going to war and stood for isolationism and appeasement with Hitler. Besides that, most Liberals don't root against our troops, we simply disagree with the conflict that they are fighting. If anything we support them and want to see them home and not fighting and dying in a pointless conflict.
