Full Name: Tortue Tortoise (Lawless?)

Species: Squirtle (Everstoned)

Origin Game: Fire Red (traded over to Leaf Green)

Nature: Modest

Moves: Bite, Ice Beam, Surf, Protect

There is no Pokemon more beloved than Tortoise, the first second starter. Tortoise has three sons (through random anonymous Ditto), and Tortue is the youngest. He was raised on tales of his father's adventures, and was instilled with a tremendous sense of duty. He must protect his trainer (ME) at all costs, for there is no higher honor. When Tortue was sent to Leaf Green to accompany his trainer on a new journey, his father was immensely proud. However, this task came with a burden; as a part of my living dex I need Tortue to stay unevolved. He and his cousin Rex are both shackled with Everstones. Tortue wants to see this as simply a test that he's supposed to pass, but Rex (whose parentage is much less holy) rebelled early and Tortue got caught up in his commotion. However, the two were able to beat the Elite Four without evolving, and are returning home as champions. They have both been promised Mega Stones when the living dex is complete.
Tortue was 'birthed' by a Ditto but raised by his dad's wife Topanga. He and his two brothers all have some Meowth-like behavioral traits, but for some reason Tortue's the worst about it. He will actually hiss and purr and does the paw thing if he has to wipe his face. He also learned a few treasure-hunting tricks; although he can't use Thief, Pay Day, or Pickup, he's weirdly good at finding hidden items.
We keep a pool floatie for him to pull around while using Surf. He's just...too small to ride...
