This is kind of in the spirit of Fighting the Mountain , I know, but I am really quite enjoying the scenery. And it was a lot of fun to work in black white for a change. Hopefully it won't look too dark for you, my screen here is pretty bright. Anyway, please forgive me the uninspired title and the lack of updates, I'm just really quite busy these days. =]Print should be up tomorrow, enjoy!

And yeah, I think you may be right with the clouds being a notch too bright. I just wanted them to appear like they're catching some of the sunlight back there, but maybe I should have been more subtle

Ich fürchte, da gibt es nicht wirklich einen Geheimtip oder dergleichen. Das wichtigste ist, und das begreif ich erst jetzt immer mehr, ist sich auf die Grundlagen wie Licht, Form, Komposition etc zu konzentrieren....und dann einfach sehr viel üben =] Und du solltest nicht "digital drawing" lernen, sondern zeichnen und malen allgemein.

Ich bewundere deine Werke sehr und freue mich, dass du mir auch antwortest. Selbstverständlich zeichne und male ich auch "analog" und das schon wesentlich länger. Ich merke schon etwas Fortschritt, habe aber noch große Probleme mit Details und natürlich der Atmosphäre. Seit wann zeichnest du (digital) und machst du irgendwie Speedarts oder Workshops oder sowas in die Richtung?

Definitely not too dark at all. I also don't see it sharing a lot of similarities with Fighting the Mountain as it's evoking quite a different feeling, at least for me. Really love the scale and how massive the mountains look. The choice for black & white? Perfect.

Durch das Fehlen der Farbe wirkt das irgendwie noch imposanter, finde ich. Und man kann mit dem kleinen Menschen richtig mitfühlen. Allein zwischen Giganten und doch dabei seinen Weg zu meistern.
