Description The reason why it shows an upgrade of two weapons is because both of the builds actually work. You can either upgrade stickies and use them to kill everything around, or you can upgrade grenade launcher (which in some cases deal more damage than fully upgraded stickies) and use not-upgraded stickies to kill just medics.
New players are recommended to use stickybomb upgrades though.

This is NOT a meta/officially recommended set of upgrades. This is what I suggest and what I find the most effective. It is created with a thought about newbies who don't know what they should start with.
The reason it's not completely filled and it's missing a few tabs is because I'm showing here what is considered the most important upgrades. Other ones are just optional.

Resistances are not included. For Resistance recommendations go here

For people who like to have things written down:

Stickybomb launcher:
2x firing speed > 2x reload speed > 1x firing speed > 1x reload speed > 1 firing speed > 2x damage > 1x clip size > 1x ammo capacity > 2x damage.

Grenade Launcher:
2x reload speed > 2x firing speed > 1x reload speed > 2x firing speed > 1x clip size > 1x damage > 2x projectile speed > 1x ammo cap > 2x damage.

Sir Strict. I have a question. What do you think about the Scottish Resistance as a weapon in MvM? It has more firing speed so would it help in case I want to focus on upgrading other things like reload speed and resistances? Plus what's your opinion on the longer Bomb arm time?

They both have their upsides and downsides, both of them are equally good. But do not pick Scottish Resistance on Expert missions, son. The longer arm time will not do any good. You need to act quick!

I try to do anything when I play Demoman.

Personally, i prefer to prioritize reload speed, the faster you reload, the sooner you can start dealing damage again.

I usually try to load up on Resistance and health regen first.

If you want to go for survival, then you should get health on kill instead.
You are always killing a whole bunch of robots so it should keep your Hp topper up.
if you are not killing robots then you are doing so,ething wrong.

starting money is never enough to keep you alive from the first wave. So if you're going to die, at least deal some damage.

And health regen is the most useless upgrade in entire mvm.

Sticky ....

It's the upgrade I take usually to all MVM I do with demo
Except one thing, I don't take "clip size".
I buy others stuffs.

Good thing this is what I do. I prefer stickies mainly in the beginning so I can keep most of them back(also since I'm still inexperienced), and I'll alternate between the two to keep things in good control.

Then I'd do the grenade launcher instead I'd go for the charge n' charge for resistances and crit damage and eyelander for additional health n' speed for only 4 kills.

Demoknight is the second weakest crowd-control class in mvm. If you want to deal damage, take Soldier or mentioned sticky/grenade Demo.

What's the weakest crowd-control, out of curiosity?

That's gonna be a combat medic.

Oh, joy...

I will say this: In my opinion, there are two acceptable times to go combat medic: When your pocket died and wants to go back to spawn to upgrade, which is extremely situational, and Ubersaw against sentry busters for free Uber.

I meant for killing spies with eyelander. I guess I would have to tinker with these loadouts before using them for ToD just incase if they're irrelevant to me.
