I'm a sucker for detailed uniforms. this guy was a bit of a challenge but ultimately rather fun. but the main reason I decided to draw him was cause I thought maybe it would be surprising to get art of him!
his ref being so new and all. this was the third sketch I did, the other two were crazy angles and poses and I just eventually said sdfghj fuck it. this one fits him well I think tho. hope you like it!oh yah I didnt really draw his wings cause I'm a lazy butt

I usually get bothered by all the details on uniforms. Resulting in my characters not being highly decorated

I get bothered by details when it comes to designs for characters that will be in comics.. it's a real pain to draw them over and over!! but in single pictures, lotsa details makes the pictures look instantly cooler IMO... xD

Yes that's part of why I haven't doodled out my comic idea. The characters take so long to get right. Many of them have wings and other extras.

BUT YOU DEFINETLY MADE HIM LOOK AWESOME. You captured his arrogance nicely and I reaaaally like the beige you put in this. He still looks slightly blue but also like those sepia pics and since he's all YER ROYALNESS, it really works too. <33333
