'Ezra (surname unknown) appears to be your average student at Blairwood Elementry.

but, "look closer", and the reason WHY he lives in such a strange town becomes very clear.

Sharing the same "dark eyes" as Erma Williams (but not so much her friendly personality)

The boy can be scary sometimes, and makes even the teachers feel uncomfortable.

Not that Ezra really cares.

Despite having been raised alongside Sidney among the Rat People,
Ezra is a bit of a recluse that prefers to be alone, as he feels like an outcast no matter where he goes

For a time, Ezra was content with his uneventful life of solitude.

That is, until he met Erma's mischievous cousins: Mitsu and Momo Yureimoto.

who through a series of random events, disrupts Ezra's simple life as the truth about his past slowly becomes known.'

[Character Facts]

.Like most kids his age, Ezra HATES veggies. Preferring to consume Meat instead.

(Apart from that, his favored treat is Chocolate. ALSO typical of a child his age.)

.Ezra's abnormal eyes enables him to see clearly in even pitch black darkness.

.Ezra is most likely Half Human like Erma is. Due not only because of his eyes,

but his inhuman level of strength, durability and stamina.

.His favorite film franchises are Jurassic Park, Godzilla and Alien/Predator.

.Ezra is frequently sent to Detention for skipping classes.

So much in fact, that he and the Truant Officer are on a first name basis.

.Ironically, while Ezra finds Momo to be annoying. he prefers the company of her twin sister, Mitsu better.

He is also very respectful towards their mother, Yori. Looking up to her like a surrogate mother.

.For reasons he cannot explain, Ezra suffers from mild cases of Pyrophobia, and Phonophobia.
Even though he cannot recall any events in his life that would cause such disorders.

OKAY...There is a lot to unpack here, so take a seat.

Despite quite a bit of readers liking my first attempt at an Erma Fanficion story (which featured Venom as a crossover subject)
a number of others HATED it, the decisions I made in the story, and of course, my OC: "Barry Edwards".

I got fed up with the personal attacks, and when someone then tried to steal my character for a HateFic,
I had to draw the line and delete everything (some artwork still remains, but for the most part: The story is now GONE.)

That being said...

With "Ezra", I am beginning my revision of my Erma story.
Starting with an OC who I purposely made to be a different character from 'Barry'.

Rather than be a timid character that gains more courage from bonding to the Venom Symbiote,
Ezra is a kid with a streetwise attitude that nearly echoes Venom's own personality.

(but, more importantly. he ISN'T a love interest for Erma.
Instead, I am going to see if I can pair him up with Mitsu...who doesn't have a canon love interest.)

One thing I decided upon to make Ezra unique is to give him the same kind of eyes
that Erma, Emiko, and most of the Yureimoto family have...but maintain a normal skin color, rather than pale white.

At first glance, this may seem like a lazy character design.
but, if you are familiar with my old Erma story, this will make perfect sense

(which I will explain anyway in my Second piece of artwork.)
