Description Tantilla hobartsmithi - Smith's blackheaded snake from Southeast Arizona.

These little guys are a small species of rear fanged, mildly venomous snakes that feed mostly on centipedes and small scorpions.

Oh nice. Haven't found one of them yet. I've had friends flip them while herping with 'em, but never found one that I'll count.

Aw it's so cute, it's shaped almost like an earthworm. I'm suck a sucker for little tubular snakes lately.
